Eating Meeting

Eating Meeting: ee'-ting mee'-ting, noun. A work-related meeting that occurs at a restaurant over a meal, usually in the evening. The meeting is not intended to be a social event, nor is it recreational or likely even pleasant. Attendees are obligated to be there and obligated to pretend they are enjoying the event. Typical usage: "I'm done with work for the day, but I have to go back out for an eating meeting with a job candidate."
